Amla (Indian gooseberry)
It is also known as Phyllanthus emblica. It is a tree which is small to medium in size and can grow up to a height of 18 m. It has crooked trunk with spreading branches. The branchlets are 10-20 cm long and the leaves of this tree are simple, light green in color. The flowers are greenish yellow in color.
