• Rheumatism- Bay oil is useful in rheumatism.
• Hysteria- Bay is internally used in hysteria and flatulent colic
• A poultice is useful for cough, cold and other bronchitis conditions
• The bark is an astrigent and hence useful for stones in kidney and bladder , spleen and liver disorders
• A strong decoction is helpful to cure fungus
• The oil is applied to the swelling, pains, gout, rheumatism, sprains and sore muscles
• Bay capsules are useful for blood pressure, Taken one cap one time each day with water
