How to use in different diseases
- The dried flowers are useful for of diarrhea, chronic dysentery, catarrh of the bladder and chronic urethritis resulting from gonorrhea
- The bark contains mangiferine and is astringent and employed against rheumatism and diphtheria
- The resinous gum is applied on cracks in the skin of the feet and on scabies
- The leaf decoction is taken as a remedy for , fever, chest complaints, diabetes,blood pressursand other ills .It should be taken one to two teaspoonfuls twice a day.
- The powder is useful for bleeding hemorrhoids. The powder is taken one to two teaspoonfuls twice a day with water.
- The juice isa restorative tonic and used in heat stroke. Various parts of the plant are used as a dentifrice, antiseptic, astringent and stomachic.
- The seeds are used in asthma , cough and other lungs congestions.
- The stem bark is useful for breast cancer.
