How to use in different diseases
- The root powder is useful for dysentery . The powder is taken one to two teaspoonfuls twice a day with water.
- A decoction is useful in fever. Take one teaspoonfuls one time each day
- It acts as an expectorant and hence useful for cough, asthma, tuberculosis and other bronchitis conditions
- Its astringent bark is beneficial in the treatment of menorrhagia and other uterine disorders.
- The stem bark is helpful for female related problems
- A Paste of Lodhra and Sphatika is to treat acne
- The stem bark is an antinflammatory
