Recommendations by Dr. Vikram Chauhan MD (Ayurveda) for Rheumatoid Arthritis

I would recommend the following natural herbal supplements for rheumatoid arthritis

1. Aamvatantak Churna - 1/2 teaspoonful twice daily, after meals with plain water or with Aloe vera juice.

2. Arthritis Support capsules - 2 capsules twice daily x 1 month with plain water after meals.

3. Guggul Capsules - 1-2 capsules twice daily x 1 month with plain water after meals.

4. Tablet Sanjeevani Vati & Sinhnaad Guggul - 2 tablets thrice daily x 1 month, after meals.

All these herbal supplements act at various stages of the Rheumatoid arthritis and helps in relieving the joint pain, swelling around the joint, helps in arresting the progress of the disease and improves the life style of the patient. I found these products very effective and I won't recommend that patients should use corticosteroids for inflammation or immunosuppresents like methotrexate to fight rheumatoid arthritis. We should believe in nature's power of healing and herbs has much to offer us in rheumatism as well.
