WHEN TO SEE A DOCTOR?

A cough usually subsides within a week or two with minor dietary modifications and general precautions like avoiding the allergens and cold things like ice creams, cold water and other drinks.
It's when the cough is persistent and not getting controlled by regular medicines that proper medical advice should be taken to know if there is any serious underlying disease which may be affecting the person.
