This product has its roots in Ayurveda-ancient herbal healthcare system of India . According to Ayurveda the balance of 3 energies- Vata, Pitta and Kapha (Kinetic, Thermal and Potential energy) in the body is a disease free state whereas their imbalance causes diseases. The herbs in this product act synergistically to control vitiated Vata” and “Pitta”. According to Ayurveda vitiated “Vata” causes irregular painful menstruation. It disturbs “Pitta-the thermal energy”. Excess “Pitta” causes heavy bleeding, hot flushes and irritability.

Herbs in Female Health Support: Female Health Support is purely a herbal formulation without any chemicals added into it. The ingredients are frequently used in Ayurvedic system of medicine since 5,000 B.C. without any side effects.

Ashok (Saraca indica): Saraca indica is a small tree whose bark is used for medicinal purpose especially for regulating female menstrual cycles. It relieves pre menstrual tension, painful menstruation, irregular menses etc. In sacred book of Hindus- Ramayana it is described that ‘Ravana' (King of Devils) kept mother Sita (Wife of Lord Rama) under his custody in “Ashok Vatika” ( Garden of Saraca indica). It is said that even the shadow and scent of this tree regulates the female hormonal system.

Lodhra (Symplocus racemosa): Lodhra is big tree whose bark is very astringent and is commonly used in excessive discharge (leucorrhoea), excessive menstruation and painful menstruation. It is useful in all female problems.

Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus): ‘Shata' literally means 100 and vari means ‘times'. The woman who regularly consumes Asparagus is able to give birth to 100 kids. This is an analogy given in Ayurveda explaining how good Asparagus is for females. It strengthens complete reproductive system of the females as well as regulates hormonal imbalance. It also improves lactation after delivery of baby. It is very good in removing weakness in females.
