About Alcoholic Liver Disease (ALD)
Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) is a liver disease that is caused due to overconsumption of alcohol. Liver is the largest internal organ in the human body. - Sensitivity to alcohol and drugs because liver cannot process them now.

The factors that contribute to the development of alcoholic liver disease are listed below:
- Women generally weigh less than men and hence they are more susceptible to the toxicity of alcohol.
