A neurological disorder, Restless leg syndrome, is characterized by pulling, creeping, throbbing and by other sensations in the legs that are uncontrollable. This kind of disorder is also known as the "Wittmaack-Ekbom's syndrome". This type of disorder is categorized as a movement disorder, in which a person is forced to make the leg movements so as to gain relief from the symptoms of this disorder. It is more common in women as compared to men. The symptoms of this restless leg syndrome occur mostly at night when an individual is relaxing. The pain increases during the night time. It is necessary to move your legs in order to relieve from the discomfort. This disorder is sometimes known as paresthesia (abnormal sensation).
