Renowned Ayurvedic expert and founder of Planet Ayurveda, Dr. Vikram Chauhan, has commenced a 10-day educational tour across Slovakia and the Czech Republic to conduct seminars, workshops, and professional interactions focused on the science and practical applications of Ayurveda.
Dr. Chauhan established Planet Ayurveda in 2002 with a vision to spread authentic Ayurveda globally. Over the past two decades, he has emerged as one of the leading international ambassadors of Ayurveda, visiting more than 35 countries to promote traditional Ayurvedic wisdom and holistic healthcare practices.
During his European tour, Dr. Chauhan will interact with healthcare professionals, therapists, wellness experts, students, and members of the public through educational seminars and practical workshops covering Ayurvedic principles, herbal medicine, Panchakarma therapies, lifestyle management, and preventive healthcare.
As part of his global mission, Dr. Chauhan has played an important role in establishing Ayurvedic clinics, wellness centers, and Panchakarma centers in various countries. His efforts have significantly contributed to increasing awareness and acceptance of Ayurveda in Europe and other parts of the world.
Adding to this growing international recognition, books authored by Dr. Vikram Chauhan on Ayurveda are now being translated into several European languages and are being placed in public libraries across different European countries, making authentic Ayurvedic knowledge more accessible to the wider public.
Dr. Chauhan is also actively running an Ayurvedic academic and research organization named PAAWS iCare – Planet Ayurveda Ancient Wisdom School and International Center for Ayurvedic Research and Education. The institution is dedicated to the propagation of authentic Ayurvedic education, scientific research, clinical training, and preservation of ancient Ayurvedic wisdom for future generations.
Speaking about his long-term vision, Dr. Chauhan expressed his desire to establish an Ayurveda University in Europe with the support of the Government of India and the Department of AYUSH. The proposed institution aims to serve as a major center for Ayurvedic education, research, clinical training, and international collaboration.
“Ayurveda is not merely a system of medicine; it is a complete science of life that can contribute immensely to preventive healthcare and global wellness,” said Dr. Vikram Chauhan. “My mission is to make authentic Ayurveda available and understandable to people across the world.”
The tour is expected to strengthen Indo-European collaboration in the field of traditional medicine and holistic wellness while further expanding awareness about the benefits of Ayurveda in modern healthcare.
