Europe – October 1–16, 2025:
The first half of October 2025 marked a historic period for Ayurveda in Europe, led by Dr. Vikram Chauhan, MD (Ayurveda) and Planet Ayurveda. Through a series of conferences, educational initiatives, consultations, and inaugurations held across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Latvia, Dr. Chauhan further strengthened the bridge between India’s ancient healing system and modern European wellness culture.
4th International Ayurvedic Congress, Prague, Czech Republic
October 2–4, 2025
Dr. Vikram Chauhan was invited as a keynote speaker at the 4th International Ayurvedic Congress, held in Prague, organized by Mr. Tomas Pfiefer, Director of TCIM/CAM.
The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Raveesh Kumar, Ambassador of India to the Czech Republic, who also attended a cultural event celebrating India’s traditional knowledge systems.
During his keynote lecture, Dr. Chauhan presented research and case studies on Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), an autoimmune bleeding disorder. His clinical experiences and Ayurvedic management protocols drew strong interest from European hematologists and immunologists, who expressed commitment to future collaborative research in this field.

Educational Sessions and Consultations, Bratislava, Slovakia

Continuing his European mission, Dr. Vikram Chauhan conducted Ayurvedic consultations and educational classes at the School of Ayurveda in Slovakia.
The sessions introduced students and practitioners to practical aspects of Ayurvedic diagnostics, preventive health, and lifestyle correction. Participants from multiple disciplines joined the classes, marking another step in formalizing Ayurvedic education in Central Europe.
Inauguration of Planet Ayurveda Panchakarma Center, Demänová Resort, Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia

Planet Ayurveda achieved a major milestone with the inauguration of its new Panchakarma Center at Demänová Resort, Slovakia, established in collaboration with Planet Ayurveda India.
The center was inaugurated by Her Excellency Mrs. Apoorva Srivastava, Ambassador of India to Slovakia, in the presence of dignitaries, Ayurveda practitioners, and wellness enthusiasts from across Europe.
In her address, Ambassador Srivastava praised the initiative for promoting sustainable and holistic health solutions, while strengthening cultural and health collaborations between India and Slovakia.
Dr. Vikram Chauhan expressed gratitude for the support and announced the establishment of the School of Ayurveda in Slovakia, which aims to facilitate educational exchange among Ayurvedic institutes and professionals throughout Europe.
Mr. Miro Maduda, Founder of PEACE (Professional European Ayurveda Centre for Excellence), described the opening as the realization of a long-awaited dream and highlighted the transformative power of Panchakarma in modern life.
The event honored Mr. Miroslav Špaček, who began collaborating with Planet Ayurveda India 15 years ago and has since organized numerous Ayurveda seminars and workshops throughout Europe.
Mr. Martin, a Slovak entrepreneur with ventures in hospitality, tourism, timber, real estate, and clean energy, was also recognized for his key role in facilitating the establishment of the center and integrating Indian wellness traditions into the European hospitality sector.
The inauguration began with a traditional Havan (Yajna) led by Prof. Anurag Pandey, MD (Ayurveda), PhD (BHU, Varanasi), and Dr. Bhairav Kulkarni, MD, PhD (Jalna, India), invoking blessings for peace, harmony, and success. Both delivered lectures on the relevance of classical Ayurvedic knowledge for European wellness practices.
Nestled amidst the scenic beauty of the Tatra mountains, the new Planet Ayurveda Panchakarma Center aspires to become a European hub for authentic Ayurvedic healing—a space where nature, science, and spirituality unite to promote holistic well-being.

Meeting with Ambassador of India to Latvia, Riga
October 13, 2025
On October 13, Dr. Vikram Chauhan met Her Excellency Ms. Namrata S. Kumar, Ambassador of India to Latvia, to discuss the expansion of Ayurvedic activities in Latvia and the Baltic region.
Ms. Kumar extended full support from the Department of Ayush, Government of India, towards initiatives promoting Ayurveda, education, and traditional wellness heritage in Europe.
Ayurveda Seminar and Workshops, Riga, Latvia
October 14–16, 2025
From October 14 to 16, Dr. Chauhan conducted a three-day Ayurveda seminar and practical workshops in Riga, attended by a diverse group of Ayurveda enthusiasts, homeopathic doctors, yoga masters, Chinese medicine experts, and allopathic practitioners.
The sessions focused on Ayurvedic diagnosis, dosha analysis, diet and lifestyle guidelines, and the integration of Ayurveda into modern healthcare systems.
On October 16, 2025, Dr. Vikram Chauhan performed Nadi Pariksha (pulse diagnosis) and provided personalized Ayurvedic consultations to patients, promoting a balanced and holistic approach to health and healing in Latvia.
