6 Stages Known As Shatkriya Kala Abstract Ayurveda is not only for diagnosis but it gives information about the stages of disease. Shatkriya kala is a fundamental topic which deals with the knowledge of stages of disease. Understanding the process of Shatkriya kala, helps in early detection of disease so that disease progression could be arrested. In modern pathology there are two stages of disease progression i.e., Pre-pathogenesis and Pathogenesis. Pre-pathogenesis can be correlated with sanchaya, Prakopa, Prasara. As the
