How to Cure Anal Fistula with Herbal Remedies Naturally?

Helpful Information Shared by Dr. Vikram Chauhan (MD-Ayurveda)

Interviewer: Good Morning Dr. Vikram!!

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Good Morning!!

Interviewer: Dr. Vikram today we are here to discuss very you can say dis-comfortable disease anal fistula.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Very uncomfortable.

Interviewer: Ya, so many people these days are complaining of this anal fistula. So please tell us about this what it's exactly.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Actually anal fistula, see this is anal canal for example just imagine this is canal and from this outer end the stool usually pass out from the outer end but when it starts to come out from another opening forms in the skin stool start to comes from that, it is not stool coming out exactly it is an opening from the anal canal from inside the anal canal to the outside surface. And that is filled with puss, with abscess, its very painful and very difficult situation for the patient. Here I want to show you actually what happens.

Interviewer: Ok please.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: What happen, suppose See if this is outer opening of anal canal, right and this is the outer skin right this outer skin and the stool should come out from here but what happens there is another track from here from inside the anal canal to the outer skin. So this sometimes it heals, it closes up, sometimes it opens up, then there is basically there is anal abscess this is called puss. Under the this opening there is puss filled. Sometimes it opens up then puss comes out. So it may become bigger some time there are multiple openings also like sometime there is, so it is very difficult to sit. And very problematic for the patient.

Interviewer: So what are the causes of this disease Dr Vikram.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Causes basically there is an infection, in ayurveda it is mentioned that, if you hold your urges natural urges for longer period of time that is going to cause lot of number one is holding the urges, number two is infection, if you hold the urges for long you don't go to pass out the stool and there are chances of getting infection. There are other diseases like ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, chronic constipation and some injury also in the ano rectal area. And these are the common causes, so these should be avoided and improper hygiene also there is abscess formation in the anal canal that is also due to some unhygienic conditions.

Interviewer: Ok and diet and lifestyle also.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Of course yes I told you because this constipation is caused by mainly diet. So not taking enough fiber food in the diet not consuming enough fruits or consuming enough vegetables and low immunity. All these things lead to infection in anal canal and lead to stasis of the abdominal canal.

Interviewer: So one should follow healthy life style and very hygienic lifestyle. So this is part one can handle but if someone suffers then but exactly the treatment is available in the ayurveda or other pathies.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: In practically speaking there is a, there are in modern medicines they do fistulectomy. The cutting of the fistula of this relaxing the muscle so that it heals up automatically. But we have seen in many times it comes up again and again.

Interviewer: Yes many patients they complain.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Many patients they complain, they come to our clinic and they say they went through surgery and it happened again so in ayurveda there is ksharsutra therapy also it is using the thread alkaline thread and tying it up its again working on the principle of cutting and healing. So it is ksharsutra is also very successful if patient doesn't want to go for surgery there are some Ayurvedic herbs.

Interviewer: Ok so one can use only herbs to heal.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: There are many Ayurvedic herbs and supplements and tablets in classical tablets.

Interviewer: So Dr. Vikram please tell explain in little detail so that people can understand how medicine can work.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: So three ways to heal the fistula one of them is cleansing the rectum. Cleansing the colon. So we I use this vara churna basically it is not only colon cleansing. Vara means best literal meaning of vara is the best. So vara is the used for the Triphala. So three fruits are there the three fruits powder is best colon cleansing it clears the passage and then I use this Triphala guggul. These are the tablets, Triphala guggul, guggul has healing properties, guggul is very good natural antibiotic. So Guggul I use Triphala guggul particularly. It cleanses the system, it also provides immunity, vara also provides immunity to the system alkalizes the system. And cleanses the system and it helps to heal the wound. Even I use this Kaishore guggul and Triphala guggul combination in healing of non-healing wounds, diabetic wounds and so many wounds.

Interviewer: So it's best anti biotic.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Best natural antibiotic. Without having any side effects. And another thing I use its miracle herb it's called Curcumin. Curcumin nowadays worldwide famous for its use in cancer, for its use in as antibiotic, for its use as anti-inflammatory drug. For its use as a pain killer. All these properties free from any side effects. So Curcumin is basically active component from the turmeric. Very commonly found turmeric in India. So turmeric is standardized made into extract and it's called Curcumin. And we use Curcumin 95% so that we can get maximum results.

Interviewer: So its help in healing the wound.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: using these three supplements together and this clears the way the puss and recurrent fistula. So for local application I use this Nirgundi oil.

Interviewer: Ok for local application.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Nirgundi is a herb basically Vitex negundo is a plant. The oil is made from that plant. So it is local it prevents the infection, reinfection, and current infection. So applying after the going through the toilet. Two times a day is recommended. And slowly slowly I have seen patients within 15 days they gave very good report. If I give out these three supplements together all these Ayurvedic medicines together with in 15-20 days.

Interviewer: Yes even if they having 2-3 openings like this. Even then it is.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: They say, I don't say they immediately they are cured. Within 15 days.

Interviewer: Ok it takes time.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: It takes time. 3 months 4 months also but in 15 days they report they are very good. They are getting good results.

Interviewer: Ok symptomatically they feel so...

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Opening, the actual opening it gets closed and slowly slowly from inside so it should be continued for three four months so that puss inside dries up.

Interviewer: So this combination should be used for 3-4 months.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: One more message I want to give to fistula patients that they should maintain the proper hygiene of the is very important to take sitz bath. Sitz bath is just sitting in the alkaline this salty water and Dettol you can add some anti-infective rather than anti you can use natural antibiotic like neem also just take some neem leaves make a decoction and then just put in the tub and then you can sit in that. Neem is very good.

Interviewer: For 10-15 minutes it's ok.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Yes 10-5, for 5 minutes its ok. Warm water is recommended. So basically to maintain the hygiene. I prefer neem over antibiotics over Dettol or betadine. So neem I have seen better results with neem.

Interviewer: Ok so doctor Vikram thank you very much for this very great information. And many people will be benefitted. Thank you.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Thank you.
