What Are Parabens?

Parabens are used as preservative base in a lot of cosmetic products such as skin creams, conditioners, shampoos, body lotions etc. The estrogenic activity shown by theses parabens in researches have raised serious concerns about the carcinogenic activity of these chemicals on the human body. Vitamin E, a main constituent of the product is popularly known as a vitamin for vitality or anti-ageing vitamin hence it has been used in this product for the same benefits.

Aloe Barbedensis (Aloevera – 1%)

It also imparts a soft rosy fragrance to the product which is transferred to the skin after application and is also a natural skin toner and antioxidant. For its soothing and cooling therapeutic effect on the skin it has been used in formulations for the treatment of skin conditions like, rosacea, skin rashes, eczema, psoriasis etc.

Triticum Sativum (Wheat Germ Oil – 1%)

Wheat germ is the center of the wheat seed or the kernel. It is a rich source of many proteins, minerals, omega-3 fatty acids and, Vitamins, Iron and, Calcium. The extracts of wheat germ oil contains an essential oil that has all the qualities of wheat germ and is a rich source of anti-oxidants, Vitamin-A, D and B fatty acids etc. It acts as an excellent moisturizer, a great skin rejuvenate and fights all signs of skin damage, supporting healthy skin regeneration and renewal and maintenance of even skin tone.

Garcinia Indica (Kokum Butter – 3%)

Produced from the seeds of the tree GARCINIA INDICA, Kokum butter is widely used as an emollient for its excellent soothing and healing properties. In addition to this, it is a good moisturizer, has astringent properties and is commonly used in treating scars, burns, wounds and other skin problems. It is replacing cocoa butter these days in majority of cosmetic preparations as it is a more effective moisturizer and can work on all kinds of skin types. It is widely used in Lipsticks, lip balms, soaps and body lotions.

Vitis Vinifera (Grape – 0.5%)

The grape seed extracts are also found to have great beneficial effects on the skin. It is a potent anti-oxidant because of which it provides SPF protection in addition to being a potent moisturizer. It is also a rich source of vitamin C and various flavonoids which are the cause of its amazing anti-oxidant properties. It is also used as a coloring agent in many cosmetics.

Olea Europaea (Olive Oil – 2.5%)
