Symptoms of Ulcerative Colitis

  • It leads to loose and urgent bowel system
  • One will experience consistent abdominal pain
  • Stool is usually bloody
  • One will experience loss of appetite
  • Will suffer weight loss
  • Will feel fatigue and sense of low energy
  • Fever is common in the case of ulcerative colitis

Some of the Mild Symptoms that can Indicate Ulcerative Colitis are:

  • Vomiting
  • Swelling
  • Skin ulcers
  • Joint pain
  • Nausea
  • Mouth sores

In most the cases, the symptoms of ulcerative colitis tends to come and go for a long period and it is also possible that one does not even notice the symptoms.

Many people don't even have the family history of ulcerative colitis but they are more likely to develop this condition if a close member is affected by the same condition.

Ulcerative diseases can affect people of all ages. The symptoms are usually visible if a person is in the age group of 15 and 30, or between the ages of 50 and 70.

Though it is not said that the anything that we eat can lead to ulcerative colitis, but there are certain food items that can aggravate the condition.
