Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Good Morning

Interviewer: I just have gone through your website planetayurveda.com and found a very wonderful product Coral Calcium Complex. I think its something very good for so many health conditions and natural calcium. So please explain to our viewers about this product.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Coral as you know corals are coral reefs inside the sea bed. Coral calcium comes from that. It’s a coral calcium product of our company Planet Ayurveda. It’s not only made from corals. It is made from the combination of various shells. Shells as well as some pearls. It can be called pearl calcium also, it can be called coral calcium also. Basically it is in Ayurveda we use various pisthis, various powders of the corals, of the pearls and another, other gemstones found in the sea. We call them in Sanskrit praval pisthi, mukta pisthi, akik pisthi, jaharmohra pisthi. Now these combinations all, most of the Ayurvedic doctor’s, ancient vaidyas they recommend to their patients for various health problems.

Interviewer: It’s very common.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Yeah! So what I have done is combined them together and put them in a capsule form. It’s called coral calcium. It’s easy to take and moreover there is an interesting thing I want to tell you about coral calcium. Because its all natural and it doesn’t need any catalyst to get assimilated in the body, to get into the bones, to get into the desired areas of the body. So it doesn’t need a catalyst, it doesn’t need vitamin D3. So most of the calcium which comes in the market, artificial calcium, pills they are having a catalyst like vitamin D3 and something or the other. To increase the bioavailability, or increase the absorption or assimilation in the body. So that causes irritation in the stomach. Irritation in the intestines which leads to acidity or some sort of problem.

Interviewer: So that’s why people mostly complain after taking calcium pills.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Whenever they take calcium pills there is a problem. So if someone takes coral calcium, we recommend it in heartburn. I recommend it in acidity, i recommend it in indigestion, in IBS also. I recommend for pitta imbalance of fire element in the body. I recommend this coral and pearls. So this coral calcium is going to fulfil cooling in the body. Keeping the acidity in control and also good in assimilation. The bioavailability and the elemental calcium value in coral calcium is much higher than regular calcium pills. And vitamin D3, I would suggest sunlight is the best source. Nowadays everybody goes to offices, everybody stays inside. No one goes out of the home.

Interviewer: Yeah! that’s a major problem.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: It is very necessary now days to look to ourself, change our lifestyles and have some sunbath, massage your body yourself or get it massaged with oil like dhanwantram oil, some sheer bala tailam, ayurvedic oils, ashwagandha oil to give strength to the bone and then lie down in the sun for a while. And also consume this natural calcium, coral calcium. Can be given to the pregnant ladies, can be given to the growing children, can be given to the old elderly people, who are very prone to fractures, can be given to the osteoporotic patients and nowadays osteoporosis is very common problem.

Interviewer: Yeah that’s what I was searching for basically.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Osteoporosis in postmenopausal women, after menopause estrogen is out. So estrogen is not being made by the ovaries so the level of calcium drops, level of calcium in bones decreases so bone mineral density lowers down. So it is very important source. This coral calcium is natural calcium which is good to replenish the depleting stores of the minerals in the bones. So very natural, very effective.

Interviewer: Yeah! Its a wonderful product. Thank you very much Dr. Vikram for sharing information about coral calcium complex and I hope viewers will be delighted. Thank you.

Dr. Vikram Chauhan: Thank you very much.
