Bustonica Oil – Key Ingredients, Their Benefits, Indications & Usage

Introduction

Breasts or Mammary Gland are a vital part of the female anatomy, serving both biological and aesthetic purposes. Biologically, they are essential for lactation, providing nourishment and immunity to infants through breast milk. Structurally, they are composed of glandular tissue, fat, and connective tissue, which not only aid in milk production but also contribute to the overall shape and firmness. Breasts hold psychological and social significance, often associated with femininity, body image, and self-confidence. Proper care, nutrition, and awareness can help preserve their functionality, firmness, and youthful appearance throughout a woman’s life. For exactly this purpose, we at Planet Ayurveda have Bustonica Oil made from herbs that are beneficial for female health. This oil may help enhance bust size naturally, prevent sagging of breasts and support breast enlargement without causing any side effects, as it is formulated with herbs that work harmoniously with the body’s hormonal system.

1. Gambhari

Gambhari (Gmelina arborea) is commonly known as White Teak and its fruit and roots are widely used in Ayurveda for various health purposes. These parts contain active constituents like Benzoic acid, Gmelinol, Beta-sitosterol, Butyric acid etc. It pacifies Tridoshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha), and also acts as Brimhana (Nourishing) and Rasayana (Rejuvenator). Its Brimhana (Nourishing) action on Mamsa (Muscle) and Meda (Fat) Dhatu (Tissue), supports the nourishment and firmness of breast tissue.

2. Shatavari

Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) is Madhura (Sweet) in Rasa (Taste) and Vipaka (Post-digestive taste) and Vayasthapaka (Anti-ageing), so it naturally makes it Pushtida (Nourishing/strength-giving). It pacifies Vata and Pitta doshas. Its chemical composition is Asparagamine-A, Saponins, Sarsasapogenin, Beta-sitosterol etc. It improves lactation in feeding mothers, and also is known for its breast size improvement effect.

3. Jeera

Jeerak (Cuminum cyminum) seeds have many therapeutic benefits. It pacifies Vata and Kapha doshas. It contains various active compounds, including the aldehyde cuminaldehyde, antioxidants and essential oils such as p-cymene, limonene, and terpinene. In Ayurveda, Jeerak is considered Stanyashodhak (purifies breast milk), Stanyajanak (stimulates lactation), and Pushtida (provides nourishment to tissues).

4. Choti Dudhi

Choti Dudhi (Euphorbia thymifolia) is commonly called as Dugdhika. It has active constituents like Cymol, Carvacrol, Limonine, Gallic acid, Quercetin etc. It pacifies Vata and Kapha dosha. It is a natural galactagogue and female tonic, supporting both reproductive and breast wellness without harmful effects. It nourishes breast tissues, and also maintains glandular health.

5. Patha

Patha (Cissampelos pareira) has Tikta (Bitter) taste and that makes it an excellent Stanyashodhan (Breast milk purifying) herb. The presence of active ingredients like Hayatin, Hyatinin, Pareirine, Bebeerine etc., plays an important role in breast health. Patha pacifies Pitta and Kapha doshas. It also is a uterine regulator, so it balances female hormones as well.

6. Paatla

Paatla (Stereospermum suaveolens) is also known as Shyonak. It is Tridoshashamak (pacifies Vata, Pitta and Kapha) and has active constituents like oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, stereolensin, and n-triacontanol etc. Paatla has cooling, anti-inflammatory, and detoxifying properties and it plays an important role in maintaining breast and lactational health.

7. Vidarikand

Vidarikand (Pueraria tuberosa) is called Indian Kudju in English. It pacifies Vata and Pitta doshas and has various active constituents like puerarin, daidzein, and genistein (isoflavones), along with tuberosin, hydroxytuberosone present in the tuber. They mimic the action of estrogen and have important roles in female health and breast development. It promotes breast tissue growth and firmness by stimulating estrogen receptors in mammary glands.

8. Chota Gokhru

Chota Gokhru or Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) is commonly called Puncture Vine. Gokshura has active components, the most important of which are the alkaloids, norharman, harman and it also contains steroidal saponins. It is a Vata and Pitta pacifier in nature. Norharman and harman regulate stress-hormone pathways supporting breast nourishment, while steroidal saponins act hormonally to enhance breast growth, firmness, and lactation.

9. Jeevanti

Jeevanti (Ledtadenia reticulata) pacifies all three doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha). It contains several active constituents, including the triterpenes, the sterols, the flavonoids and other compounds as well. Jeevanti promotes glandular tissue activity, maintains optimal estrogenic activity and contributes to improved breast fullness in lactating women. Its Rasayana (rejuvenative) and Vayasthapana (anti-ageing) properties help maintain the firmness, elasticity, and overall health of breast tissue.

10. Shyonak

Shyonak (Oroxylum indicum), commonly called Sonapatha, pacifies Vata and Kapha doshas. Its active constituents include several flavonoids such as chrysin, baicalein, and oroxylin. The leaves also contain anthraquinone and aloe-emodin, which acts as emollients. Shyonak has phytoestrogenic activity, so it helps in breast tissue development, supporting growth, firmness, and elasticity. It also helps in keeping the breast tissue soft and supple.

11. Flax Seed Oil

Alsi (Linum usitatissimum) is commonly known as Flax or Linseed. Flaxseed is rich in key active compounds, primarily α-linolenic acid (ALA), an essential omega-3 fatty acid, and lignans, which are plant-based phytoestrogens with potent antioxidant effects. The phytoestrogens in flaxseed oil mimic natural estrogen, which supports breast tissue development, firmness, and nourishment. Its anti-inflammatory properties also help maintain tissue integrity.

12. Sunflower Oil

Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) balances Vata and Pitta dosha and has unsaturated fatty acids that help regulate estrogen and progesterone levels, which is crucial for fertility and breast health. It is an excellent source of Vitamin E as well, a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative stress. It moisturises skin, improves elasticity, and reduces dryness.

13. Sesame Oil

Till or Sesame (Sesamum indicum) pacifies Vata dosha. The active ingredients in sesame seeds are primarily a class of compounds called lignans, including sesamin, sesamolin, and sesamol.
