Ajwain (Carom Seeds) (Carom Seeds) is one of the best Ayurvedic herbs for the treatment of any vata vitiated disorder in the body. It is best for managing pain due to superficial trauma or deep seated nerve involvement.

It is a widely grown annual plant in the Middle East and India. In the Mediterranean region, Egypt has abundance of Carom seeds. Both seeds and leaves are used for medicinal purpose.
