Description Of Ingredients
1. Somal / Sankhya (Arsenic Trioxide)
Somal/Sankhya (Arsenic trioxide) is Sheeta (cooling), Laghu (light), and Kashaya (astringent) in nature. It helps to balance Pitta, reduces excess heat in the body, and soothes irritation and inflammation that often accompany fever.
2. Kali Ka Chuna (Calcium Hydroxide / Slaked Lime)
Kali ka Chuna (Calcium hydroxide / slaked lime) is Sheeta (cooling) and Tikshna (penetrating). It assists in neutralizing body heat, reduces Kapha accumulation, and supports digestion and detoxification during fever.
3. Sohaga (Sodium Borate / Borax)
Sohaga (Sodium borate / Borax) has Ushna (hot), Laghu (light), and Snigdha (unctuous) qualities. It promotes the circulation of heat, relieves chills, clears Kapha stagnation, and helps manage systemic discomfort and weakness associated with fever.
4. Kalmi Shora (Potassium Nitrate)
Kalmi Shora (Potassium nitrate) is Sheeta (cooling), Kashaya (astringent), and Laghu (light). It helps balance Pitta, detoxify the system, and reduces excessive heat, sweating, and restlessness during fever.
5. Raw Red Fitraki (Potash Alum)

Method Of Preparation
- Mix all ingredients and triturate in lemon juice for 3 hours, form into a paste, and dry.
- Then triturate well and wrap in 5 serr (approx. 625 g) of cow dung cloth and cook it.
- After cooling, powder it finely and mix Atees (Aconitum hereophyllum), ¼ nosadar (arsenic sulfide) and ¼ Praval pishti.
Indications And Clinical Use
This Rasayan relieves fever arising from aggravated Pitta and reduces anxiety and induces sweating. It helps in indigestion, abdominal pain, and Kapha-related disorders. If fever has not yet occurred, it can prevent fever caused by conditions like Jwarvip, Aam (undigested food/toxins), or Pitta. Dosage
2–4 ratti, 3 times a day, with sugar and boiled water, tea, or honey.
