Mayur Piccha Bhasma is a herbal formulation that is prepared from a very beautiful natural thing, the peacock feathers. Its name Mayur Piccha reflects its ingredients as mayur known as a bird means a peacock. The piccha is the feathers from which bhasma is prepared, are very bright in colour due to its structure. As it consists of tiny holes, through which light gets reflected and provides view of different colours like blue, green and red. This feather consists of active ingredients like iron, zinc. copper and manganese etc. This bhasma is very useful to treat the problem of hiccoughs and dyspnea etc.
METHOD OF PREPARATION
Take the feather of peacock. Put these feathers into a container. Now close this container and put this on to high fire. Burn the feathers. The ash is obtained after burning the peacock feathers. This ash is known as Mayur Piccha Bhasma.
Take bhasma up to 125-130 mg and mix it with honey and one gram long pepper powder. Make its paste and consume.
