Method Of Preparation

First, the Kwatha (decoction) is prepared by boiling Kwatha Dravyas (decoction ingredients) in water and reducing it to one-fourth. Separately, Kalka Dravyas (paste ingredients) are made into a fine paste and mixed thoroughly with Murchita Goghrita (processed cow’s ghee). Then the prepared decoction is added to this mixture. Next, Svarasa Dravyas (juice ingredients) are processed to extract their juices (or reduced decoction where necessary) and added to the mixture. The entire preparation is then subjected to mild heating following classical Sneha Paka Vidhi (medicated ghee preparation process) until only medicated ghrita remains. After achieving proper Sneha Siddhi Lakshanas (signs of completion), the formulation is filtered and stored in clean, wide-mouthed glass containers.
