Chilgoza (Pinus gerardiana) is native to the dry temperate regions of the north-western Himalayas. It is naturally distributed across India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and parts of western Tibet. In India, it is mainly found in Himachal Pradesh (especially Kinnaur and Chamba districts), Jammu & Kashmir, and limited regions of Uttarakhand.
