The taste of lemons is sharp but they have a potency which is neither hot nor cold. Lemons help in excreting excess water from the body. Actually it has the kapha pacification property, which is accumulated in meda dhatu as body fat. Basically it melts down that accumulated kapha and that kapha leves body with urine.
