Mukta Shukti Pishti - Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage


Mukta Shukti Pishti is a classical preparation, having sweet and pungent taste. This Ayurvedic product is prepared from pearl oyster shell. This is a potent form to get calcium. It is available in powder form (Pishti) which is a very fine Ayurvedic treatment for conditions like gastritis, abdominal pain and respiratory conditions.


  • Mukta Shukti – Pearl oyster
  • Lemon juice and rose water.

Method of Preparation

Crush Pearl oyster into coarse form powder. Then it is subjected to a process called Swedana in lemon juice. Then the soft powder is crushed with rose water to get a smooth fine powder further.

Medicinal Properties

Mukta Shukti Pishti is an Ayurvedic medicine used to manage the various respiratory, heart and digestive complications. For respiratory complications, it helps to manage the various problems like bronchitis, asthma, cough etc. Natural ingredients used in this medicine are loaded with the decongestant and expectorant properties which help to clear the phlegm and mucous from air ways. It also helps to manage the problems like cough, chest and nasal congestion etc. Mukta Shukti Pishti works well to manage the heart problems. Cardiovascular properties of this medicine help to strengthen the heart muscles. On the other hand, it also helps to maintain healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels in the body. For the digestive complications, mukta shukti pishti is considered as an effective medicine. It helps to improve the digestion power and creates the calming effects. It also resolves the various problems like bloating, flatulence, heartburn, indigestion, acidity, nausea, vomiting etc. Healing action of this medicine is quite good for the peptic ulcers and gastritis.

Consume 250 – 500 mg daily, in divided doses, usually before having meals. The dose and time of administration must be as per doctor's suggestion.
