Nimbadi Kashayam

Nimbadi Kashayam, also known as Nimadi Kashaya, is a well-known classical Ayurvedic liquid formulation. Its primary ingredient is Neem (Nimba), renowned for its powerful detoxifying and anti-inflammatory properties. This kashayam is a concentrated herbal decoction prepared through a traditional method, where selected natural herbs are boiled in water to extract their therapeutic essence. The result is a potent, water-based herbal preparation that supports skin health, digestion, and overall detoxification in a natural way.
Ingredients
- Neem – Azadirachta indica
- Ginger- Zingiber officinale
- Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia
- Daru – Cedurs deodara
- Shati – Hedychium spicatum
- Bhunimba – Andrographis paniculata
- Paushkara – Inula racemosa
- Pippali – Long pepper- Piper longum
- Gajapippali – Scindapsus officinalis
- Brihati – Solanum indicum
Method of Preparation
Boil the above ingredients using water till it is reduced to 1/4th then filter it.
Dose
Take 12 – 24 ml of kashaya before food, or as directed by an Ayurvedic doctor.
It is usually advised to add an equal amount of water to the kashayam.
It is advised to take a little honey after taking this kashayam.

Side Effects
There are no known side effects.
Note – Special care and precaution is required while administering this medicine to people with diabetes.
Its Overdose may lead to stomach irritation and gastritis.
