The serious infection of liver occurred due to the HBV i.e. Hepatitis B Virus is commonly known as the infection of Hepatitis B. The infection of Hepatitis B becomes chronic if the Hepatitis B Virus remains in the body for a long time. The infection of Hepatitis B is present in the individuals with some common signs and symptoms that are easily treatable with the help of Ayurvedic remedies. However, new born babies or children of less than 5 years of age are at huge risk of this infection. If the chronic stage of Hepatitis B remains in an individual for more than six months then it may cause various liver disorders such as Liver Failure as well as Cancer and Cirrhosis of the liver. The main reason behind the development of serious liver disorders is that the normal tissues of the liver gets replaced by the infectious Scar tissues (abnormal tissues). The World Health Organization (WHO) conducted a survey in the year 2015 and according to that survey, the infection of chronic Hepatitis B was found in more than 257 million individuals that were living in different parts of the world. WHO had also found that 8,87,000 individuals died in the same year from liver failure as well as from the Cancer and Cirrhosis of the liver caused due to HBV (Hepatitis B Virus).

Types of Viral Hepatitis

There are five different types of Viral Hepatitis that is Hepatitis A, B, C, D and E. Whereas, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C viruses are more dangerous in nature. Most of the deaths happened due to these two viruses.

Different Types of Hepatitis B Virus

  1. Type 1: The first type of Hepatitis B infection is also known as Acute Hepatitis B infection. This type of infection remains in an infected person for not more than six months. But if it remains in an infected person for more than six months then it develops Chronic Hepatitis B Infection.
  2. Type 2: The second type of Hepatitis B infection is also known as Chronic Hepatitis B infection. This type of infection remains in an infected person for more than 6 months. These types of infections are more likely to cause Cancer and Cirrhosis of the liver or Liver Failure.

Is Hepatitis B a Communicable Disease?

Yes, Hepatitis B is a Communicable / Contagious Disease. This Communicable infection get transferred from one person to another person through different ways. Few of them are as follows:

  • Using an infected Blade or Razor or any other personal items with the remnants of infected fluid or blood of a person who is suffering from Hepatitis B infection.
  • Transfusion of blood from an infected person to a healthy person.
  • From mother to New or Unborn born child during Pregnancy.
  • From unprotected Oral, Anal, and Vaginal sex with different partners.

Symptoms and Signs of Hepatitis B Infection

The Symptoms of Hepatitis B infection may vary from one person to another depending upon the severity of infection. The most common signs and symptoms of Hepatitis B infection begins to appear in an individual after two to three months. Few of the common signs and symptoms of Hepatitis B infection include:

  • Fever
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Fatigue
  • Weakness
  • Pain in Joints
  • Pain in the Belly
  • Pain in Abdominal
  • Loss of Weight
  • Loss of appetite
  • Whitening of eyes
  • Yellowing of skin
  • Some other Symptoms of Jaundice disorder.

Diagnosis of Hepatitis B Virus

Whenever a person observe any three of the above mentioned Symptoms of Hepatitis B infection then he or she must consult with a medical practitioner. The doctor will ask about medical as well as family history from the patient. After gaining the information about history then doctors will strictly recommend some blood tests to the individual who use IV injections or drugs on a regular basis, who have sex with Multiple Partners, who is suffering from HIV or Aids, who recently visited a nation with a high rate of Hepatitis B infection.
