Jimutabhringadi Taila
(जीमूतभृंगादि तैलम्)
Introduction
Jimutabhringadi Taila is a classical Ayurvedic medicated oil primarily indicated for Kesha Patana (hair fall) and Sirah Kandu (itching of the scalp). The formulation brings together potent Keshya (hair-nourishing), Kandughna (anti-pruritic), and Krimighna (anti-microbial) herbs processed in Murcchita Tila Taila (processed sesame oil). The presence of Jimūtaka, Bhringaraja, Nili, and Haridra makes the oil particularly effective in scalp conditions associated with Kapha–Pitta vitiation, dandruff, itching, and progressive hair fall. Designed for external use over the scalp, this Taila supports hair root strength, scalp hygiene, and overall hair vitality.
