Kacchoradi Taila

Introduction

Kacchoradi Taila is a classical Ayurvedic medicated oil formulation extensively indicated for Kushtha (skin diseases) and Bhinna (wounds and injuries). The formulation is notable for its wide spectrum of herbal ingredients, incorporating potent Kushthaghna (antileprotic), Krimighna (antihelminthic), Raktashodhana (blood cleansing), and Vranashodhana (wound cleansing) drugs. Prepared using Tilataila (Sesame oil) as the base, along with two separate decoctions and a carefully selected group of Kalka dravyas (pasted herbs), this oil is intended strictly for external application. Its therapeutic utility lies in managing chronic dermatological disorders, infected wounds, and skin conditions associated with dosha vitiation.
