A clean stainless steel vessel is taken and processed sesame oil is poured into it. Sarjarasa, purified and powdered, is added to the oil and mixed thoroughly. The prescribed quantity of Kanji is then incorporated into the mixture. The contents are heated over mild fire following the classical Sneha Paka procedure. Continuous stirring is maintained to ensure uniform processing and to prevent sticking of the resin to the vessel base. The mixture is heated until the aqueous component of Kanji evaporates completely and only medicated sesame oil remains in its original oil quantity. Proper completion is identified by the absence of moisture, characteristic aroma of processed resin, and formation of soft, non-adherent residue. After self-cooling, the oil is filtered through a clean cloth and stored in airtight glass containers.
