Description of The Ingredients Used in Yakrit Plihantak Churna

The following descriptions of ingredients are:-

1. Bhumi Amla

Phyllanthus niruri is the Latin name of the bhumi amla swaras and it comes under the Euphorbiaceae family. The following properties of Bhumi Amla are:-

  • Ras - Tikta, kashaya, and Madhur (Bitter, Astringent, and Sweet)
  • Guna - Laghu (Light), Ruksha (Dry)
  • Veerya - Sheeta (Cold)

It balances the aggravated dosha ( Kapha and Pitta doshas) in our bodies. It also acts as a laxative, appetizer, hepato-protective, digestive, liver stimulant, carminative, antibacterial, and antiviral properties.
