Jatiphaladi Taila
(जातीनिशादि तैलम्)
Introduction
Jatiphaladi Taila, also known as Jatinishadi Taila, is a classical Ayurvedic medicated oil primarily indicated for disorders of the oral cavity and head region, especially conditions such as Dantashoola (toothache), Dantachala (loosening of teeth), and Vaktrashoola (oral pain). The formulation is rich in aromatic, Tikta (bitter), Katu (pungent), and Kashaya (astringent) herbs, processed in Murchita Tila Taila (purified sesame oil). It is specially designed for local application and oral procedures like Gandusha, where it helps pacify aggravated Vata and Pitta Dosha in the mouth, gums, teeth, and surrounding tissues. Its classical combination supports pain relief, reduces inflammation, strengthens dental structures, and maintains oral hygiene.
