Maha Kanaka Sundara Rasa - Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage

Maha Kanaka Sundara Rasa is used in the treatment of fever, diarrhea and stomach problems. Use of this medicine is good to improve the digestive fire.
Ingredients
- Hingula (Purified cinnabar)
- Marica (Piper nigrum)
- Gandhak (Purified sulphur)
- Pippali (Piper longum)
- Tankana (Purified Borax)
- Vatsanabha (Purified Aconitum ferox)
- Kanka bija (Purified Dhattura metel)
- Juice of bhang - Marijuana (Cannabis sativa)
Method of Preparation
Juice of fresh plant of bhang should be used. If fresh plant is not available take the leaf part of bhang to be boiled with water to make decoction in sufficient quantity for carrying out mardana (trituration) for one day.
Medicinal Properties
Medicinal action of this medicine is quite good to manage the various problems like fever, diarrhea, indigestion etc. This medicine helps to improve the digestive fire in the body. Use of this medicine is quite effective to decrease the body heat in fever. This medicine acts well to manage the digestive health issues like indigestion, nausea, vomiting, flatulence etc. For Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), it helps to increase the digestive fire and remove the accumulated toxins (ama) from body. Moreover it helps to manage the symptoms associated with IBS like diarrhea abdominal pain or cramping, or constipation, diarrhea bloated feeling, gas, mucus in stools etc. In the diarrhea, this medicine helps to extrude the bacteria from intestine which are responsible for infection. It helps to manage the problems with diarrhea like loose, watery stools, abdominal cramps, abdominal pain, fever, blood in the stool, bloating, nausea etc.
