Introduction
Maha Shatpala Ghrita is an ayurvedic formulation that is known to be prepared from the mixture of many herbs. This helps to treat problems related with digestion and kapha related diseases.
Ingredients
- Ghrita (ghee)
- Buttermilk
- Yavakshara (Hordeum vulgare)
- Pippalimoola (Piper longum's root)
- Chitraka (Plumbago zeylanica)
- Chavya (Piper chaba)
- Pippali (Piper longum)
- Shunti (Zingiber officinale)
Method of Preparation
Take all the ingredients and mix with ghrita (clarified butter) in a container. Cook till the herbal ghee is prepared.
Dose
15 to 30 ml
Indication
- Bloating due to kapha
- Dyspepsia
- Indigestion
- Chronic fever
Contraindications
